Problem
To secure their success, a Large Australian bank came to us after realising they needed an enterprise-grade cloud transition expert to boost security, dependability, and efficiency. "I inherited a portfolio of ageing technologies that supported critical customer journeys when I stepped into the Engineering Executive role," their Engineering Executive stated. Both the internal engineering staff and the established external vendors lacked the skills and vision needed to spearhead the required modernisation projects. We took over at that point.
Solutions
We led the entire set of work, ensuring that the bank’s OpenText systems would be secure, scalable, and future ready.
This included:
designing a highly secure & scalable AWS & EKS solution for their 4 business-critical OpenText applications
writing and implementing the data migration strategy and ensuring that petabytes of data were successfully processed, migrated and verified
defining and implementing a cutover strategy that ensured over 100 banking systems would have a seamless cutover to the new cloud based platforms
enabling modern DevSecOps practices within the 12 teams and ensuring they gained cloud-native skills and experiences to support their new systems
